Student Thinking Skills Workshops

The Opti-MINDS Creative Sustainability Challenge is an inclusive team challenge which EMPOWERS participants to THINK, CREATE AND COMMUNICATE.

Schools do not have to Register for Opti-MINDS to have a Student Thinking Skills Workshop.

Opti-MINDS student workshops can be designed around your schools individual requirements. This interactive session can focus on the Opti-MINDS Challenge Programme to ensure that you and your teams feel completely confident to participate at your Opti-MINDS Regional Final. Spontaneous Challenge training is covered extensively in this workshop.

Topics covered include:

  • Creative Problem Solving strategies
  • Team Building and Communication Skills
  • Spontaneous Problem Solving Skills
  • Creative Thinking, Improvisation and Characterisation
  • Approaching Opti-MINDS Challenges
  • Drama Skills

We also offer Creative Thinking Skills Workshops focusing on general critical and creative problem solving and team skills. The diverse activities offered are not Opti-MINDS specific and many schools have found these workshops useful to train students for other team based competitions.

Call Kathy on 0417976894 to discuss the possibilities.
